Moto BootsYorkshire Wheatbuck Leather
A beast of a boot. Handmade for us by Britain’s last remaining traditional heavy work boot maker.
A beast of a boot that’s good for the pub, walking the hills or even for riding about on your motorbike.
We’ve done thousands of miles of all of this in ours, as well as dancing the night away.
The Moto Boots are constructed using processes that go back to the 19th century.
One piece moulded Vibram sole, screwed and bonded to the leather. A traditional construction that allows replaceability and durability.
Two sets of laces included: brown leather laces and flat red cotton laces.
Our boots are tough with a heavyweight work boot construction, which has proven itself over centuries on farms, in quarries and forges. Leather from British tanneries, manufactured by the country’s last remaining traditional heavy boot maker, William Lennon & Co. who are based in the Derbyshire Peak District.
This factory started production in 1899 and the great-grandchildren of the founder are still running and working in the business.
“Traditional doesn’t have to mean old fashioned. Function doesn’t have to mean style-free”
Unadorned with gimmicks, the Moto Boot is understated, built to last and unique to HebTroCo.
Designed for heavy use
We wanted boots to suit our lives, and we wanted them to stand up to a beating. So, replaceable soles, toughened panels, and a construction that shapes to your body over time just like our trousers do.
The Moto Boot is made from Yorkshire oiled suede with a leather through sole. Fitted with hardwearing Vibram Commando soles which are replaceable.
Our soles are screwed and bonded to complete this beast of a boot.
Product Care
You don’t need to do much as these are tough boots.
When wet allow them to dry thoroughly in the air and away from heat sources.
Don’t put them on a radiator or in front of the fire as this will damage the leather.
To clean, use a nylon scrubbing brush to remove mud and stains. If you need to do more, just wipe with a damp cloth. When dry dab sparingly with dubbin.
They are guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects.

Mine arrived 3 days ago and I’ve spent as much time in them as possible. Bit about myself but bear with me, it’ll make sense…. hopefully. I’m Yorkshire stock so “Ow much?” is in my DNA but I’m also a believer in Buy well, buy once. I’ve also been lucky enough to be united with a number of rescue English Bull Terriers over the past 25 years (my absolute favourite breed) and oddly enough these Moto boots are a familiar feeling. Aesthetically not to everyone’s liking but I think they’re incredibly handsome. We’ve only just met so it’s going to take a while to get to know each other. These boots are tough lumps and they know it, they’re stubborn and are trying to rub me up the wrong way at times and I expect that from them. I’m not going to push my luck with them by taking them for too long a walk yet. I already know however, that we’re going to be together for years and over the next weeks, maybe even months, they will soften and mellow, do what I want more often than not and become great companions. I know for certain they will always have my back. Absolute drivel but I hope a few of you get it. Special relationship incoming and couldn’t be happier. Thanks very much for these thunderous beasts. I’ll be back for the Iron Moleskin shirt come payday!

I’ve been lucky enough to wear some very decent boots over the years, but these moto boots are something else, in both their construction and styling. The quality is amazing, they’re solid, heavy weight boots, yet don’t feel heavy when worn, and despite the solid build and tough leather, they felt great out of the box, and are really comfortable after wearing them for a week. They feel indestructible, and make you feel indestructible too.

Quite possibly the best pair of boots I’ve held in my hands.

The best boots.
Really comfy boots and they look great. They take a bit of wearing in while they shape to your feet, but they will last a lifetime.
