Made exclusively for us by England's last remaining heavy duty boot maker using tools, hand and eye. CXL leather from the Horween tannery in Chicago, heavyweight triple-leather plus a two-piece rubber Vibram sole. Fully repairable. The Grizzly are boots you'll wear through this life and take into the next. Truly made-to-last.
The Grizzly is the fourth evolution of our Moto Style. Different leather, new sole construction. The result? The heaviest pair of sh*t kickers we’ve ever sold. Burly, hardy, no half-measures. They’re the go-anywhere counterpart to their brother, the tarmac-treading Moto City.
Like all our boots, they’re made for us by William Lennon & Co in Stoney Middleton, Derbyshire. They’ve been in the boot game since 1897 and are still a family business to this day. A defining feature of their boots is the construction. The uppers are screwed directly into the sole using a rare BUSM Rapid Standard brass wire screwing machine. There are only four of these machines known to exist today, three of which are at William Lennon’s factory. This method of sole attachment predates Goodyear welt, and is still one of the strongest methods ever used.
All our boots are unlined by design. Linings are often the first thing to fail and can’t be replaced. Everything on the Moto Boot can. They’re fully repairable and re-soleable, built to be fixed up and worn for many years to come.

What is CXL Leather?
Chromexcel (CXL) leather was originally developed by Isidore Horween in the early 1900s, and its tanning process has remained largely unchanged ever since. It passes through 89 separate processes, taking just under a month to complete.
The result is a leather revered for its ‘living character’ – supple, tough and full of depth, with a beautiful patina that develops through wear. It’s the kind of leather that doesn’t just age; it gets better with it. And that’s very HebTroCo.
Size Guide
Like all our Lennon’s-made boots, sizing is standard UK. The toe box is slightly wider than average, but we recommend taking your normal UK size.
Our clothing size charts show the flat measurements of each garment.
Since everything we do is made by hand, there can be a slight variation between pieces (up to 2% either way is considered within tolerance). Natural fibres can also shift slightly during production, with a bit of stretch or shrinkage being part of the process.

Product Care
You don’t need to do much as these are tough boots. When the boots get wet allow them to dry thoroughly in the air and away from heat sources. Don’t put them on a radiator or in front of the fire as this will damage the leather.
To clean, gently brush away any dirt. Saddle soap or other gentle leather cleaner can be used to get rid of stubborn stains. When dry simply rub in a neutral or tan shoe polish and shine up.
