Denim Repairs
Fix 'em up

How to extend the life of your denim.

Within the first 6 months…

If anything goes wrong with your denim in the first 6 months of ownership we’ll fix it free of charge (unless it’s damage from misuse, accident or alteration).

Any manufacturing defects will come to light in this period. After that any issues will be considered normal wear and tear.

Faults will be fixed by the original factory that made your garment and will be turned around in 14-28 days, usually quicker.

If you purchased your garment within the last 6-months and it’s developed a fault, please email us with details of the issue, a photo or two is helpful and your order number.

Beyond 6 months…

We want to see HebTroCo denim last for as long as possible. We can advise on repairs for the duration of your ownership.

Denim wear and tear faults can be mended with one of our specialist denim repairs partners. We’ll even chip in 50% of your first repair cost.

  1. Book your jeans in for a fix using our repair service. Here’s the link.
  2. Send your (clean) jeans to our returns address with a note including your purchased repair order number.

Teasha manages our repair service and will be in touch once your jeans have arrived and are being readied for their journey to the repairist. Please email her at any point during the repair for an update. Once your jeans are repaired, they will be posted back to us for quality checking then shipped back to you.

Why Repair?

Wearing character into your denim is a satisfying process. All HebTroCo jeans are made from raw denim so you can expect some top tier fades*. Moulded to you and unique, those fades and crease lines tell the story of times spent in your trusty denim.

*Great fades are the reward for washing your jeans correctly. Here’s the guide on how to wash your denim correctly here. It’s easy.

Is denim immortal, master? No grasshopper.

Its lifespan is affected by activity and frequency of wear. The more you love wearing them the more they will wear out. Like all fabrics, denim is subject to the same effects of repetitive friction. Different areas of your jeans will wear faster than others and some may eventually wear through. Common spots are the knees and crotch (turns out that sliding on your knees and sitting on your arse really does take its toll).

When that time comes you may decide to do nothing, opting to show off your denim’s shreds and scrapes as trophies of the journeys you’ve made together.

If you decide that holes ain’t your bag, we can help.

Why don’t we offer free repairs for life?

Because things will eventually wear out and we’re not trying to kid you otherwise. When your vehicle needs maintenance there’s a cost. Same same with denim.

We take responsibility for making sure the jeans are good to start with, will fix them if not, and then (with a little help from us and a 50% off first fix bump) it’s over to you. We think this is a realistic and sustainable way of doing business. You get what you pay for and we strive to make this as high quality as possible.
