It's a Triumph2,000 mile tour to Denmark and back

Just back from a 2,000 mile tour to Denmark and back on my old custom Triumph motorcycle. It’s truly a British made-to-last machine and the perfect match for the values that we hold dear at HebTroCo.
The twin cylinder 650cc engine was made to essentially the same design all the way from the 1930s up into the 1970s which goes to show how good it is. Why change something just for the sake of it? The quality and reliability shine and just require some basic maintenance. If and when it breaks down or something wears out it can be fixed at home with basic tools. Sustainable? I think I’ve just described that!
Not only did it carry me and my camping gear in style, it also won a prize for Best British Bike at the vintage bike party I went to on the beautiful Danish island of Æro. That it was the only British bike is irrelevant. At one point a lady pulled up in her car, wound down the window and told me she loved the sound of my bike. You don’t get that with a Honda.
Like my bike the clothes I wear have to be well made and look decent. Everything took a beating in all weathers from thunderstorms to 34 degree sunshine. Like my bike and my face, a lovely patina of wear is developing on the clothes and they have years of service left in them.
My boots are a new sample pair of triple leather soled, Vibram shod, Chromexel leather Moto Boots which are due to launch this winter. Wax cotton jacket is our Roadrunner which will also be back in a new colour this autumn. Jeans are my trusty 15oz BRTR 15, perfect to wear with boots and comfortable on the bike and in the bar. This was the first run for a new sample denim vest which will be called the Magneto Vest, designed by Amelia and loaded with secure voluminous pockets and no collar to flap in the wind.
Choose your get up, and get on up!
BRTR-1515oz Indigo Selvedge Denim
Our roomiest jeans. Loose straight leg for a fuller look without being baggy. 15oz selvedge denim in a broken twill weave. Enough room for big thighs and calf muscles. Dark indigo in a bluer shade than our other jeans.
