Boggart Fucker
Boggart fucker
Did you watch The Gallows Pole last night? Do you like swearing?
The BBC’s adaptation of HebTroFriend Ben Myers’ novel, The Gallows Pole was screened last night. Watching it has turned us a bit sweary…
“King George III is a boggart fucker…”
It wasn’t Happy Valley and it certainly wasn’t The Crown. And thank fuck for that. Like most things it’s not for everyone.
We loved it and have been calling each other boggart fuckers all morning in the unit.
Boggarts were the eighteenth century folkloric equivalent to internet trolls. If one thing’s for sure, the boggarts are out in force today in the comment sections.
Have a nice fucking weekend.
