The Drovershirt’s name is a nod to the old Drovers’ roads that were once the main thoroughfares for moving livestock around these parts. The rearing of sheep and the trading of their fleeces fuelled the weaving industry and subsequent industrial boom that shaped our Northern towns forever.
Filmed on Penistone Hill at the Wild Uplands public art and culture trail. This towering sculpture clad in raw fleece was created by artist, Steve Messam.
It was a joy to experience the sculpture, hands-on. A wool marvel and fantastic backdrop for the introduction of our new wool overshirt.

Patterned with a beautiful glen check - black and ecru from a distance but up close blue, grey and bronze. A truly HebTroCo overshirt that's clean in design and bursting with utility. Enormous side seam pockets and inside “bag for life” pockets.
