It’s always a buzz when you spot someone wearing your products. At our recent Bizarre Bazaar there was a smart chap stood at the bar. We noticed that he was wearing Light Olive GVNR Shorts held up with a beautiful Walnut Brown Garrison Belt. He looked so good that we got Alex to take some photos and asked Matthew to tell us a little bit about himself.
I’m twenty one years old, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. I studied English Literature at university and graduated with a 2:1. I currently work as a barista and I intend to learn as much about the coffee industry as possible before opening my own shop.
I found out about HebTroCo from my friend Cristofer Morante who backed the Kickstarter*. I bought a pair of 177 Moleskins in Grey and they were the most durable and comfortable pants I’d ever owned and I no longer have any use for my jeans. Since then I’ve bought the Garrison Belt, a pair of olive Governor shorts, the black C60 Needlecord trousers (which I bought at the Bizarre Bazaar) and most recently the 1485 Wool Jacket.
To me HebTroCo is more than just a company, they have built a community around their brand and they support other businesses. Most importantly they actually give a shit. Read their blog post “No free shipping. No free returns.” if you don’t understand what I mean.
*Kickstarter crowd funding campaign that launched HebTroCo. 176 people bought a pair of moleskin trousers enabling us to put our first production order through, build a website and set up as a company.
