Four years of denim under our belts

4 years ago this week in 2019 we launched our first pair of selvedge denim jeans. brant can’t even count how many pairs we’ve sold since then (10,000+?) but regardless of quantity the reviews and feedback show that you love the quality.

It’s ironic that when we started HebTroCo in 2016, with one model of moleskin jeans, we said that we’d never do denim!

These photos of brant and Ed up on the moors are from the first denim shoot we did back in November 2019.

Starting with just one indigo 12oz denim model, the GVNR, we now have a whole range of fits in different cloth weights and colours as well as shirts, jackets and even some hats.

We’ve got four years under our belts now and the love we have for denim is stronger than ever. We love wearing our jeans and seeing the fades develop and we get a buzz from seeing that you do too.

Well, I just got these in the post today and I’m afraid they may have just made my other black jeans redundant. I normally go for the straight fit in denim, and have the standard GVNR in indigo, but these are the business. Bye bye old black 501s, hello M16s.

Pictured here are the same jeans that Ed’s wearing in that photoshoot from 2019. As he wears all the HebTroCo samples before they go into production, this pair of GVNRs have not been worn every day for four years! They still get worn in his jeans rotation though and are continuing to look more characterful as they age.

I am committed to the concept of buying quality products that last rather than buying s**t and having to throw it away after five minutes! Discovering HEBTROCO and realising that that is the company‘s mantra too was fantastic! I bought a pair of GVNR 16 last month. I could not be more pleased with them. The jeans are beautifully made – work of art – and, I suspect, will be durable – bullet proof. Well worth splashing the cash.

GVNR 16 Selvedge Denim Jeans / Indigo

I have owned Brave Star, Edwin, Iron Heart and Naked and Famous selvedge. These are the best of the lot, 14oz is an all year round weight and they are dead comfy straight out. I dithered over them and had to wait for the re-stock, don’t make that mistake! Get them now and by Spring they will have some cracking fades. Good fit and as well made as even Iron Hearts.
