OS Shirt250gsm / 100% Linen
Linen was made for weather like this. A cloth trusted in hot climates for thousands of years, long before air conditioning. Breathable, tough and naturally temperature-regulating. The OS Shirt uses our heavyweight linen, same as the Li’on Shirt. Made to our spec in North London with natural Cotswold-made buttons.
Not all linen is created equal
There’s plenty of “100% linen” out there, but not all linen is created equal. Ours starts with French-grown flax from the famous flax belt of Northern France – a region with growing conditions that simply can’t be replicated elsewhere. The flax grows slowly, producing exceptionally strong, long fibres that make for a cloth with more character, resilience and life.
Overshirts are part of the pulse of HebTroCo. Round here they’re the ideal layering tool to sate the mardy English weather. A breathable outer layer when the sun’s out, and a sturdy mid-layer when the temperature drops. The OS Shirt is our classic two-pocket overshirt, made from the same heavyweight linen cloth as the Li’on Shirt

OS stands for Over Stoodley...
Named after the hill that rises above Todmorden, crowned by the iconic gritstone tower that pierces the sky. It’s a landmark in our local landscape, a point of reference we see every day.
Seasons change and people come and go, but The Pike stands strong and true. That’s what we wanted from the overshirt that takes its name. A dependable layer for changing seasons, made to be worn often and kept for years.
Size Guide
In the photos: Ed is 5’8″ / 10.5 stone and wears size Medium.
Our size charts show the flat measurements of each garment.
Since everything we do is made by hand, there can be a slight variation between pieces (up to 2% either way is considered within tolerance). Natural fibres can also shift slightly during production, with a bit of stretch or shrinkage being part of the process.
Any questions at all please email us and we'll do our best to guide you.
