C-Major Cord Jacket100% Cotton / 14 oz
One of those jackets that rarely makes it back to the hook. Made from an olive green heavyweight jumbo corduroy - not flimsy stuff, this is the real deal - warm, durable with some proper heft to it. The C-Major swallows layers without you feeling squeezed like a tube of toothpaste. Proper pockets, inside and out. It's real utility, designed by us and British made-to-last.
Corduroy has a habit of becoming your favourite without you noticing. This is that sort of jacket.
Classic work jacket length that’s cut to sit at the hip so it layers well and doesn’t bunch when you’re sat. Looks smart enough for the pub, tough enough for days on the tools and comfortable enough that you forget you’re wearing it. Big pockets where you need them. Hands, phone, wallet, odds and ends.
Cut from thick Italian-woven wide-wale cotton cord from Brisbane Moss. It breaks in quickly and only gets better the more you wear it.
Like everything we do, the C-Major is British-made. Designed on our Calderdale cutting table and sewn in Hackney Wick, London.
Vintage Origins
We have an archive collection of mid-20th century work jackets from Europe and America. They are all designed to be comfortable and smart, allowing freedom of movement whether stood or seated. As such they are cut shorter than coats and often have articulation in the back. There are practical pockets of course. You can imagine the intention was for these pieces to be worn in workshops, behind shop counters, in warehouses, on delivery bikes and at the same time be smart enough to serve customers. We kept what worked and made our own, the C-Major.

Extra thanks to Ed for sorting everything out regarding sizing, and for going above and beyond during the festive season for me.

A masterclass of style and function, super smart and comfortable. The usual Hebtroco quality, at home in any situation. I haven’t stopped wearing it since I picked it up.
