Mammoth 550gsm outer made from a 60% wool. British-made horn buttons. Vintage smock pullover style with roomy kangaroo pocket.
The design for this one is based on vintage European climbing smocks but made using wool blanket rather than cotton.
Drop shoulder sleeve for ease of movement and a nice curve to the shoulder.
Wear it buttoned up for warmth or loose for more ventilation.
Great as an outer layer, or under an over-jacket or coat for maximum warmth.
Recycled wool mix cloth.
All internal seams bound, so it’s as neat inside as it is outside.
Lined buttoned cuffs.
Made for us in Bolton. Cloth from our friends at Lanifico in Italy.

We take inspiration from vintage workwear, military and outdoor clothing. There are many American classics but we love looking to our European traditions too. This smock is like a mid twentieth century alpine pattern, but made here in wool rather than cotton.
Photographed here in the fantastic J.H. Mann Fishmonger’s in Sheffield where you can eat fresh fish cooked in front of you straight off the counter. The best of ingredients created into tasty product in a traditionally authentic way. The perfect setting for our delicious smock.

Product Care
It’s wool, it doesn’t need washing every time you wear it.
If you absolutely have to, cool hand wash only. Do not put it in a washing machine, do not spin it. Dry flat on a table, do not hang on the line, the wool fibres will hate you for it.

Pondered this potential purchase for a while and glad I went ahead – great quality and looks good on – has attracted compliments. Sizing advice from Teasha was spot on – I’m 5’11 and went for the large as this is quite short in the body.

Another 5 star Stella purchase. The products really are superb. However, it’s customer Service that can make or break a company, and the Troco crew really do excel at customer service. I received a product which was damaged in transit. Teasha replied to my email within an hour and facilitated a return for me. She fired out my replacement to me immediately. – even though she had not yet had sight of the damaged product. Top marks to the Troco crew. Again. ‘I’ll be baclk’. Again.

Absolutely outstanding.. I have looking at hebtroco for a while debating buying jeans and one of there jumpers, and this little number came out loved it.
