Bridestones is an iconic craggy outcrop of gritstone, eroded over time into fantastic shapes, that stands high on the Pennines above the Calder Valley. When we heard that the land where Bridestones stands was up for sale AND that there was a community buyout in the bidding, we knew it was time to get involved.
“Our vision is to create a community-owned nature reserve in one of our most exceptional wild places. We can reverse the decline in biodiversity and mitigate against climate change.”
