True Voe Shetland Jumper / Bitter Chocolate

True Voe Shetland Jumper / Bitter Chocolate

100% True Voe Shetland Wool.

The wool that Sir Edmund Hilary chose to wear for his pioneering expedition to the Everest summit. So it’s probably fine for you to knock about in. When our Ed toured round a bunch of Scottish suppliers back in the winter on his cargo bike, he picked up a sample jumper in this wool and rode the whole trip in it, as well as putting it back on at night after his shower to go for dinner! He even ate Cullen Skink in Cullen in it and he says he didn’t stink!

These jumpers are undyed and show the beautiful natural colours of this magnificent breed of sheep. Part of the charm of these jumpers is the natural variation of colour that comes from the individual fleece that the yarns come from. A bit like a fine beard you could say!

Shetland wool is soft and can be worn next to skin unless you’re of the very sensitive skin type.

It spins into a soft, light and very strong yarn that’s breathable and naturally anti bacterial.

3.5 gauge knit.

Modern seamless construction, which results in virtually no waste as it goes through manufacture. No seams to add bulk or rub.

Sold out and discontinued.

Sorry you missed it.
