Same look, different engine

We’ve made Iron Shirts in denim, canvas and moleskin. This is the first in Bedford cord, a fabric that’s been used for generations in hard-wearing applications like equestrian clothing and upholstery. It isn’t coarse or stiff. It’s soft, comfortable and easy to wear from day one. And despite the name, it’s not corduroy. The ridges may look similar, but the construction is completely different. Corduroy uses cut pile. Bedford cord is woven. The result is a fabric with structure, strength and a subtle texture that ages beautifully.

The one with the big pockets

You wouldn’t know it at first glance, but the Iron Shirt has the biggest pockets of any HebTroCo style. They’re designed to sit flat, keeping the profile clean and sharp, while extending across the full lower section of the shirt to give you serious carrying capacity. To give you an idea: the internal pockets will comfortably hold two bottles of wine PER SIDE. That’s why we call them “bags for life.”
