We loved getting out-and-about in our Action Shorts last year. Ed walked the whole of the Pennine Way in his. He also ran hundreds of miles and, when he wasn’t skinny dipping, he swam in tarns, dams, streams and lidos in them. During moments of repose he did a bit of mooching about town and ate a lot of ice creams. All in the Action Shorts.
Bringing them back for a reboot was a no-brainer. But we wanted to make some changes, starting with the cloth.

Designed for going commando. The mesh liner is comfortable and keeps everything where it needs to be.

Super comfortable and lightweight summer shorts, really happy with them. Used the online size guide and got a perfect fit.

Supremely comfortable. I ordered size 32 waist initially but they were a little snug, so I exchanged for size 34 which fit perfectly with a small cinch in at the waist.
I love the waist adjustment method, I love the light and smooth fabric, the lining is also comfortable but secure. The pockets are nice and deep.
Going to do a big walk in them this weekend (40miles) and I’m looking forward to every step.

I initially purchased the 36 in teal but found they were a bit snug (I normally wear 36 in Hebtroco jeans) so I swapped them for a more comfortable fit in 38. I also changed to the blue to give me a more flexible colour to go with anything – both colours are pretty good! Looking forward to using them over the summer for hiking, kayaking and a bit of swimming
