Ed's Aged Denim FadesHave you got some well loved and faded HebTroCo denim?
Usually I’m wearing new clothes. Testing samples for approval before we commit to production or putting on fresh from the factory clothing for our photo shoots. I have got older clothes, they’re just not always in the photos and posts!
I love wearing HebTroCo classics and seeing them age, especially my jeans. Denim is special because unlike a lot of clothes part of the charm is the way they fade with wear and washing. My jeans develop a character that is unique to me, based on my body and what I do in my jeans, how I wash them and what kind of gubbins I keep in the pockets.
You might have heard about the Indigo Invitational. It’s an annual jeans fading competition where people start with a pair of raw denim jeans and wear them hard for 365. Denim heads have just started with this year’s competition on 1st September by putting on a brand new pair of jeans. We’re chuffed to see that there are several people wearing HebTroCo jeans this year.
This morning I walked into work wearing the first ever sample pair of HebTroCo GVNR jeans from 2019. I’ve also got the first shirt that we made on as well, the original Selvedge Denim Overshirt also from 2019. I’ve been all over and got up to all sorts in these double denim set up and will continue to do so until they fall apart. Janelle at White Weft our denim repair specialist has repaired a couple of holes in my jeans but apart from they both garment have a lot of life in them.
