Fully made right here in Sheffield.
Slice sourdough like a boss and cut crusty cobs with precision. Not just for bread though, a bread knife makes short work of slicing big melons or sharing out a pizza.
This is a proper British bread knife made by the northern masters of forged cutlery, Samuel Staniforth Knifemakers of Sheffield. Established in 1864, they are good people who make top quality knives for kitchen, military, bushcraft and butchery use.
The satin finished blade is made from tough X50CrMoV15 German high range martensitic stainless steel which offers great wear and corrosion resistance.
Wood handle is made from sustainably sourced British yew.
4mm brass rivets and a Sheffield cast brass bolster. All brass is UK sourced.
The knife carries the Made in Sheffield mark.
