Warm mid weight, fully lined wool jacket.
Fully British designed and made, using woollen fabric woven in Yorkshire.
The fit is sized for wearing with a jumper or sweatshirt underneath. Also looks great with just a t-shirt.
Four hip pockets, two for carrying your stuff in and two to keep your hands warm.
Two buttoned inside chest pockets.
British made Corozo buttons throughout.
70% Merino wool is blended with 30% other fibres for strength and durability at the beginning of the process and this also gives the cloth a marbled affect.
Our Charcoal Melange is a hard wearing, plain Melton weave.
You want provenance? Here you go…
This charcoal Melton fabric is woven at A.W. Hainsworth, one of the oldest companies not just in Yorkshire, but the whole of Great Britain.
Throughout history Hainsworths have developed fabrics for fashion, workwear and famously for the military, which this Melton was originally used for as Infantry dress trousers. The world’s first Khaki and the Scarlett, worn during the Charge of the Light Brigade and still seen today in the Trooping of the Colour, originate from Hainsworths.

Finished with natural buttons, not plastic.
People tried to put us off, telling us about the woes and huge expense of using UK-made buttons, but we stuck at it.
We wanted to do it the right way, not the easy way.
It turns out they were right… Â Our buttons are about 50 times more expensive than a plastic mass-produced button from overseas. We wanted to do it right though, not easy.
Our buttons are made of Corozo palm nuts. They are harvested from sustainable rainforests in Ecuador, where trees are planted and maintained rather than being cut down.
This means that our nuts are green and they are very special. As well as being natural the material is tough, takes colour well and gives a pleasing marbled effect.
