Fully UK made like everything we do.

Made at Cookson and Clegg in Blackburn who used to make for the MOD and other forces (before it all sadly went off shore). This is our exclusive take on an old UK military design. Proper old school army style cloth sourced from our German supplier. Adjustable continuous waistband that runs between the adjusters, all the way round the back of the pants. Pre-washed so they won’t shrink.

Waistband adjusters to fine tune the fit

A Tactical Sausage pocket for our times…

Once used for a baton in the original military design, this pocket will now accommodate a good twelve inches of your choice of dry cured meat.
It’s all about the cloth. 100% cotton, tightly woven 8.5oz herringbone twill. Originally used in military wear for its toughness and breathability. Oh and it looks cool as fuck.
Roll them up (if you want, or if you’re a short arse)…
Wear the Cargo Pants your way ‘cos you’re worth it. Satisfy your inner hipster with a turn up, or wear them as they come (rolled down).

Fine herringbone twill cloth, amply cut for a loose fit. The waist adjusters are an excellent idea, one that was more widely used in the 1960s and earlier, and well worth reviving – especially for people like myself whose waist measurement varies throughout the year, according on beer & pie consumption in autumn & winter vs coffee & salad in the warmer months.

I was initially taken rather aback at the absence of back pockets, but the two expandable bellows pockets, one on each upper legs, should be sufficient for my wallet, diary, loyalty cards, small mammals, rosary beads, and anything else. And their position is a lot more secure than rear pockets anyway (which I don’t generally use for valuables anyway whenever I’m travelling on buses or trains in That London, in case of pickpockets).

Overall – high quality materials, cut and stitching that I’ve come to expect from Hebtroco.

Yes, certainly these strides are pricier than their high street equivalent, but we have become accustomed to artificially cheap clothing, and that comes at a price – not only the exploitation of developing world factory workers, working long hours in shitty conditions and paid a pittance. But also, a similar pair of trousers from a high street shop would be badly cut, with shoddy stitching and poor quality cloth.

This is the third item of clothing I’ve bought from you, and I intend to buy more, as and when I can afford to. I’d rather have a few carefully-chosen top-of-the-range threads in my wardrobe than a wardrobe full of tat.

Long live Hebtroco and all who sail in her!

Smart cargo pants, that have received positive comments from others
Quality is really good and nicely designed and finished
Plenty of good pockets, for storage out and about and even lots in my pork pie, for a trip to the pub
I would still like some belt loops as an option to attach knife etc, when out camping

Cheers Mike. I hook my DBAD Keystrap onto the waist adjusters, then drop my keys in the sausage pocket. But thanks for feedback – it all goes into the mix for new product. /brant
