A proper two-piece locking utility knife spec’d to the requirements of the British Army.
Made for us by Egginton Bros in Sheffield, the original suppliers to the MOD.
We visited their workshop, brant fell in love with it and the rest is history.
No mucking about, this thing is tough. The locking mechanism can withstand over 150 newtons (34lbs) of force.
The back-locking sheepsfoot blade opens in a nice smooth motion until it halts with a satisfying click. Mmm.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an army knife without some utility built in as standard. There’s a can opener which will also open bottles, flat head screwdriver and shackle.
The knife is made from all stainless steel and laser etched with the HebTroCo skull of approval.
This knife has a locking blade to be more useful and safer. You don’t want the blade to close on your fingers in the middle of a job do you? This is standard for many other locking multitools. You should have a reason for a locking blade such as it being part of a tool kit for an activity, for a picnic etc.
