11oz denim is lighter than any other denim we use without giving up the rugged look of a proper pair of jeans.
This denim was a hidden gem that we found on our visit to Candiani in Italy back in February 2025. It was exactly what we’ve been looking to find for ages. Lighter cloth for warmer days without loosing the look and feel of denim, in a lovely shade of tan that is easy to wear with the rest of the HebTroCo range. The bonus was that this denim is selvedge so you can show the stripe with your turn up or just enjoy the characterful look and feel that only comes with premium denim woven on vintage shuttle looms.

for strength and durability all around, stronger than rivets. -
Lining for strength
in the bottom of back pockets. -
Proper belt loops
that take a 1.5" belt. -
Leather patch
you can feed your belt under. Featuring skull artwork inspired by our local moorland flora. -
5-pocket design
Heavyweight 11oz pocketing made from 100% cotton. -
Secret pocket
built into the pocket bag of front left pocket to keep your change secure.

Phase 1: Closes noon on Tues 6 May
Choose any combination of waist and leg size. Your BRTR-11 will be made especially for you.
Phase 2: Begins Weds 7 May
Preorder from our choice of general stock sizes. Outlier sizes (28, 36in leg, 42-44in waist) will be limited or unavailable.
Delivery
We expect to ship your BRTR-11 around the 9th June. We’ll be in touch if this changes.
BOTHER 5 will automatically be added to your order and we will post this to you as a mid-May surprise.
If you add other items to your order, we will hold these and ship them with your BRTR-11 once they arrive. If you would prefer separate shipments for each, please place a separate order and pay the required postage.

100% Regenagri® certified cotton
Regenerative Agriculture is the antidote to damaging, intensive farming. Farming with nature. Not just avoiding synthetic fertiliser and pesticides but using extra ecological practices.
Intensive farming leads to soil degradation. Regenerative agriculture is a way of farming that builds and improves soil fertility, whilst sequestering and storing atmospheric CO2, increasing on farm diversity and improving water and energy management.
Denim from Candiani (BRTR-11)
Candiani are masters in their craft, producing some of the world’s best selvedge denim.
Environmental sustainability is at the forefront of all stages of production at Candiani. Their dye process is micro-plastics-free, they use solar power and water recycling, and all their cotton is BCI certified.
Most of the selvedge we use is Regenagri© certified denim (which supports regenerative agriculture) or 100% Organic Cotton. We are proud to be one of the first brands in the world to use Regenagri© denim cloth to make our jeans.
What is Selvedge denim?
Selvedge is a premium denim woven only on vintage shuttle looms.
Compared to modern projectile looms, selvedge looms are smaller, slower and very noisy, but the character and durability of the denim they produce is unmatched.
The loom’s low yield is why selvedge is considered a premium denim and not the go-to choice for mass-market jeans.
The word “selvedge” comes from “self-edged,” which describes how the loom finishes the edges of the denim.

Cut and sewn for us in Walthamstow, London by Blackhorse Lane Atelier. They have the reputation of making outstanding quality jeans and jackets, all with an exceptional finish.

Product Care
Turn-ups: We ship the BRTR-15 without a turn-up. If you prefer to wear your jeans with a permanent turn-up, choose a longer leg length to accommodate this. For example, if you’re a 30″ leg and you’d like to fold in a turn-up, choose a 32″.
Your HebTroCo jeans are made with an extra 1-inch in the leg to compensate for first wash shrinkage (e.g. a 30″ will measure 31″ before first wash). Any shrinkage will be in the leg, not the waist.
