Everybody is lying to you about your waist size.
We’re trying to make it easy for you to get the right size first time.
Here’s how to do it. Get your favourite trousers. Pull the waist band tight. Measure from side to side. Double that figure.
The 16in dimension below indicates these are our 32in trousers (2×16=32).
Every brand has their own idea of what’s right. But most of them end up being wrong. We wanted our trousers to measure what they said they were. Not a vanity size.
We’ve seen one brand that was labelled as a 32in waist actually measuring 38in. So if you’re a 34in on the high street, you might well be a 36in HebTroCo due to our accurate sizing. Perhaps more if you wear stretch trousers.
We’re different. You might have noticed that already though. We started this company over a beer a pub, and ended up working by our own rules.
From a background of bicycles, motorbikes and other things, we decided to make our trousers the actual size they are. Not some vanity figure to confuse everyone.
If you get it wrong (and many do), we’ll swap them for the right size. We only do even numbered waists because your body isn’t a perfect cylinder and so it’s perfectly possible for someone to wear two different sizes higher or lower on their body as their waist tapers. Inside leg has three stock sizes, and we even offer a custom option.
We’ve been at this for over two years now, and we’re working with factories with decades of experience. Everything is guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects. And it’s all British Made To Last.
We sell jeans made for us in the North of England. We use tough traditional fabrics like moleskin, canvas and British woven denim.
