We called in to the William Lennon & Co factory last week. They make the Moto and Chukka boots, exclusively for us, and have a history of making traditional, heavy work boots that goes back to 1899.

The business is still run by the same family that set it up originally. They are lovely people to deal with and they make excellent boots with the made to last ethos that we value so highly.

In our business we get to dream up, design and plan new products in partnership with our highly skilled manufacturers. After the ideas stage we love then seeing the making process in action.

It’s always a real buzz to see our products going through the various stages of production in a factory. Leather hide cut to pattern, pieces sewn into shape, soles fixed and rows of boots passing from one craftsperson to the next, finally arriving at the end of the line, boxed and ready to go to customers.

The latest order of Chukka and Moto Boots are shipping to pre-order customers and also going into stock this week and next. Stock levels of boots are now accurate in our online shop.
